KHURRAM JAVAID MUGHAL

CEO – MUGHAL IRON & STEEL

Mr. Khurram Javaid Mughal is member of Executive Committee of PALSP. He is an outstanding member of the Association who regularly contributes to make Association most influential in a short span of time.

He holds an MBA from the Coventry University, UK. Mr. Khurram has spearheaded Mughal Steel’s initiatives of transforming the Company into a highly competitive organization through modernization of manufacturing facilities, improving quality of products, developing diversified product and market portfolio, identifying new markets, strengthening and broadening sales network within the country, creating efficiencies in inbound logistics and investment in cheaper and alternate sources of energy. His efforts have resulted in enabling the company to deliver year on year improved performance and to steer through difficult times.

HADI AKBERALI

COO – AMRELI STEELS

With vast experience on policy/advocacy, strategy and narrative building he helped PALSP to emerge as the most influential Association in a short span of time. With his expertise and passion for the steel sector, he has played key role to resolve very critical issues of the steel industry. He is also Chief Operating Officer Strategy (COO-Strategy) of Amreli Steels.

With over 10 years of experience in the steel industry, Mr. Hadi Akberali is instrumental in the company’s vertical integration plans by spearheading the implementation of the billet manufacturing facility in 2011. He brings a mix of technical, management and leadership skills after graduating from North-western University, USA in Industrial Engineering and obtaining an MBA in Finance and Strategy from INSEAD, France. Recently, Mr. Hadi successfully implemented SAP across his company, Amreli Steels.

ZARAK KHAN KHATTAK

CEO – FF STEEL

Mr. Zarak K. Khattak got his Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from GIKI with honours. He started his career in ICI Ash Soda as a Management Trainee, after which he joined Mobilink as Team Leader Quality of Service. Later he joined the family business, FF Steel in the year 2007 and took major decisions in taking the company to the next level.

Zarak was awarded with the Young Entrepreneur Award in 2014 by the then President of Pakistan & Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as token of recognition of his efforts in creating new investment and business development strategies to enhance business and commercial opportunities. Due to his economic vision and business acumen, which is recognized by both, the Federal and Provincial Government.

SHABAN KHALID

DIRECTOR – ITTEHAD STEEL INDUSTRIES

Mr. Shaban Khalid is currently serving as a Director at Ittehad Steel Industries and the Managing Director at Mitsubishi Islamabad Motors, FAW Islamabad Motors, and Hyundai Islamabad. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1999 and has worked tirelessly for personal growth as well as that of the business community.
